FURIA stun NAVI in ESL Pro League
It’s the first time in history that the Brazilians have managed to beat s1mple and company.
For the first time ever, FURIA have taken a series off NAVI and it’s a sweep!
FURIA have got a dream start to the ESL Pro League event following victories over TeamOne and NAVI to top the group with Gambit. Yuri “yuurih” Santos stepped up huge on the second map of the series to wrap up the series 2-0.

NAVI took an early lead on the CT-side of Mirage and stormed to a 10-5 lead right before halftime. But as soon as the teams switched sides, FURIA instantly improved and completely shut down NAVI’s offense, not allowing them to grab a single round. The Brazilians closed out the map 16-10.
On NAVI’s favorite map pick, Nuke, the Russian-side stole the second round with a force-buy on CT-side and secured four rounds afterwards, giving themselves a good start on the CT-sided map. The Brazilians managed to add four rounds on the scoreboard before halftime, making it 10-5 in NAVI’s favor. A back and forth fight all the time in the second half, saw many close rounds going FURIA’s way as they closed out the map 16-14 to wrap up the series 2-0.
