Valve unban coaches including FURIA's guerri
Three coaches have been cleared to participate in the upcoming Paris Major.
During IEM Rio in 2022, one of the big talking points was the ban for FURIA's Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira, who could not stand behind his team at the Major on home turf.
Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira was one of the many coaches involved in the "coaching bug" incident, where both ESIC and Valve decided to punish the coaches by banning them from participating in tournaments including the Majors.
Later on, ESIC made several adjustments after having received appeals. Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira's ban was also removed.
But Valve decided not to follow suit and kept the bans for the Majors, which excluded guerri from taking part in the IEM Rio Major. Now, however, the game developer has had a change of heart.
The FURIA coach broke the news in the moments after FURIA had won their match at ESL Pro League. Also ToH1o, and Apoka have been cleared by Valve.
