FURIA kick out FaZe from IEM Katowice
The Brazilians are through to the lower final at the $1 Million tournament following a 2-1 victory over karrigan’s troops.
FURIA have set themselves up with a match against Virtus.pro in the lower final after taking down FaZe Clan 2-1, while karrigan’s troops exit the tournament with a 9-12th place and $16.000. The lower final between FURIA and Virtus.pro where a playoff spot is on the line, will start around 19:00 (CET).

The Brazilians started off slow on the opener, but found their footing as soon as their economy started rolling and won 9 consecutive rounds in a row on CT-side to go to halftime with a 10-5 lead. As the teams switched sides, FURIA continued their good form on T-side and closed out the map 16-8 with a strong performance from junior who delivered 27 frags.
On Overpass it was a much closer affair. This time it was FaZe who went to halftime with a 5-10 lead on CT-side and even though FURIA were so far behind, they managed to climb to a 14-13 lead, before karrigan’s troops took the last three rounds to close out a hectic map 16-14.
FURIA came out strongly on Train and took control from the outset. The Brazilians went on to dominate the whole game, only allowing FaZe to grab 4 rounds in total before closing out the map 16-4 and wrapping up the series 2-1.
