Fnatic take home their first LAN trophy in over three years

The Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 event came to an end on Sunday, and it was fnatic who emerged on top to take home their first LAN title in over three years, following a dominant 2-0 victory over the Germans from BIG. With a 16-4 victory on Vertigo, fnatic went confidently into the second map of the series where they eventually crushed the BIG roster once again and wrapped up the series with a crushing 16-5 result to secure the title, an IEM Katowice 2023 play-in spot, and $100.000 in prize earnings.

fnatic’s William “mezii” Merriman finished as the series MVP, averaging a 1.61 Rating and 94.5 ADR across the two maps.
