Fnatic secure opening victory over Heroic
The newly-formed squad from fnatic took down tournament favorites Heroic in the opening match at Pinnacle Cup Championship.
Mezii’s side from fnatic got off to a great start at the Pinnacle Cup Championship with their new players in nicoodoz and roeJ, as well as f0rest who is standing in. The team took down tournament favorites Heroic 16-14 on Overpass in the group stage’s opening match. Fnatic’s KRiMZ topped the scoreboard at the end of the match with 22 kills and 17 deaths, while nicoodoz also delivered a good performance against his fellow countrymen with a rating of 1.21 and 20 kills.
The fnatic roster can now rest until tomorrow when they have to play against the winner between BIG and MIBR for a spot in the playoffs’ upper bracket final,while Heroic will have to play an elimination bo3 series against the loser of the match today at 17:00 (CET). The Danes are required to get two victories to make it to the playoffs’ lower bracket.
