Evil Geniuses has been thrown out of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown after suffering a devastating loss to MAD Lions. The last round-of-16 matchup at the event ended up being a tough series for the North Americans, where we saw MAD Lions round off the match 2-0.
The standout performer in the match was MAD Lions Volodymyr 'Woro2k' Veletniuk, who dismantled the EG players time after time, round after round. The young Ukrainian ended the battle with a 1.41 Rating and 52 kills. The win means that MAD Lions will take on G2 in the next round – On paper, a much tougher opponent than Evil Geniuses.
