Dignitas loses to HAVU with a COVID-19 infected IGL
The Swedes didn't stand a chance against HAVU, looking like a team that was constantly outnumbered.
Dignitas suffered a crushing defeat against HAVU in their first group match in Elisa Invitational by a 16-5 scoreline. The Swedish team was at no time close to winning the match, being totally dominated by HAVU throughout the match.
The worst performer was Dignitas’ IGL friberg who presented a 5-18 k/d, 42.2 ADR and a 0.33 rating. One of the worst performances ever from the former Major MVP winner, who normally produces decent numbers.
It was earlier today announced that precisely friberg had been tested positive for COVID-19, which most likely is the reason for this poor performance from the IGL. He explains how he has been sick for now one week with high fever and other symptoms, which clearly isn’t the best condition to be in going into a match.
It’s not clear if Dignitas tried to postpone or cancel the match as we saw in the nearly identical situation last week with NAVI and forZe where perfecto was tested positive.
