The Danish team tops the ranking even though, they only hold one single title in 2020. However, their sole triumph was at Flashpoint 1 back in April which gave them a staggering $500.000 prize earning. Besides the 1st place at Flashpoint 1, MAD Lions took home a 3rd place at ICE Challenge and a 5th-6th place at the second season at Flashpoint.
MAD Lions joints an elite company with CS:GO titans Liquid, Astralis and SK Gaming as the most winning teams the last three years.

A challenging year
There was handed out a total of $16.591.445 throughout the entire 2020, the lowest since 2015. It's, of course, a clear consequence of Covid-19 and it's entry on the CS:GO scene. The global pandemic has meant that big LAN-events as we know them, have been impossible to hold and organize without the possibility of mass infection. That has resulted in the cancellations of every major and other notable events that offered a big prize pool.
