Can Mouseports rediscover their 2019-level?
Mousesports has struggled in recent months and has to try to bounce back against BIG
If we go back one to the start of 2020, the situation for Mousesports were completely different. The historic team was ranked as the 2nd best team in the world, and was THE team to beat, in a long period of time. They had just finished off the 2019 season in outstanding fashion winning huge events as CS:GO Asia Championships, ESL Pro League Season 10 and just barely lost the final in Epicenter.
However, the current Mousesports teams are in a rather slump, being a diametrical opposite version of themselves. They have struggled a lot in this “Online era” where they haven’t managed to produce a stable and appropriate level of CS. This has meant that Mousesports has dropped down in the rankings and are not a team that is feared by the rest of the tier-1 scene.
It will be exciting to follow them in the last period of the year to see if they can save their 2020 season and create a similar streak as in 2019. Their next match is tonight at 18:30 (CET) against BIG in IEM Beijing.
