Brazilians bench 24-year AWPer
Despite posting a 1.15 Rating throughout 2022, nython has been placed on the sideline to explore his options outside paiN.
Gabriel "nython" Lino is longer a part of the active roster at paiN Gaming after being benched by the organization, the 24-year-old AWPer announce on Twitter. The experienced player writes in a Twitlonger that he’s open to offers but that he’s still under contract with paiN.
nython only managed to play five months for paiN after joining the team in February from the Argentinian team Isurus. On paiN, he had some big shoes to fill as he replaced the powerful AWPer Rafael “saffee” Costa who was acquired by the South American heavy hitters from FURIA.
The roster move is the second one this week for paiN, with the long-standing member Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato suffering from the same fate as he also was benched after representing the team for more than three years.
