Bad News Eagles get past Eternal Fire in RMR opener
gxx- and company is off to a great start at the Major qualifier.
European RMR Group A has begun with an impressive first match as Eternal Fire took on Bad News Eagles who really showed their worth last time doing Major Antwerp.
The match was set to be played on Dust2 which looked like a fair match if you are looking at both teams’ recent performance on the map. After 10 rounds of play on Dust2, Bad News Eagles lead the way with a 10-0 score line. BNE has shown its dominance on the CT side as it took Eternal Fire 11 rounds to find their first round to make it 10-1 in favor of BNE. The halftime score ended up being 12-3. The second-half comeback starts after a pistol-round win for Eternal Fire. 24 rounds in and we have a tie game as Eternal Fire fights their way back to an even score line 12-12. BNE wins the game 16-14 in some intense last rounds.
