Astralis stay alive with victory over GODSENT
That means the Brazilians from GODSENT are heading home early from the Major.
The Danes stay alive in the event and move to 1-2, following a 2-0 victory over GODSENT in a nail-biting elimination match. Astralis continue their battle for the Legends stage tomorrow, while GODSENT leaves the Major empty-handed as the first team from the event.
Magisk and company started off with a strong showing on their map pick of Nuke, where they completely demolished the Brazilian squad to draw the first blood to the series with a 16-3 scoreline.
On Vertigo, Astralis ended the first half with a 10-5 advantage and once again were in complete control of the map. When the teams switched sides, GODSENT started to find their footing on the defense and lowered their deficit to only two rounds. But from the on, Astralis proved to be just too strong as they went on to close out the map 16-11.
