Astralis crush Complexity's playoff dreams in Finland
BlameF and company was the better team against Complexity.
The Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 are up and running with both group A and B being finished. Six teams have made it to the playoffs, one of them is the Danes from Astralis who took down Compelxetiy in a do-or-die matchup on Thursday. Both teams were 2-2 in the groups before their last game against each other.
Nuke was the map being left open in the veto. The Danes started out on the CT side where they found early success by winning the first pistol round. Despite a quick momentum switch, Complexity was the team finding the right duels on their T side after getting a 2-7 scoreline in favour of Complexity. Astralis then came back with six rounds in a row to make the half 8-7 with Astralis in the driving seat.
The second half was all complexity coming out with high speed and great firepower. The North American team won five rounds before Astralis saw things crumble away from them. BlameF and co. took the last seven out of teen rounds to tie things at 15-15.
Col started out as CT in overtime, where they found a fast 2-1 lead in the first half of overtime. Astralis switched over to the CT side knowing if they win 3 consecutive rounds, they are going to the playoffs. blameF took his teammates in his bag and took them toward a 19-17 scoreline.
