Astralis coach opens up about possible Bubzkji demotion
zonic believes that he and Astralis have to work on and alter the way they play Nuke, as it “definitely need some work”.
Yesterday, Astralis coach, Danny “zonic” Sørensen gave a post-match interview following their devastating loss to BIG at BLAST Premier Spring Groups. The renowned coach opened up about their recent struggles on their otherwise favourable map of Nuke, which he believes “definitely need some work”
zonic also reveals that Lucas “Bubzkji” Andersen doesn’t stand as a permanent Nuke player no more, as we hear zonic say in the interview.
Bubzkji has been a steady figure on Astralis’ Nuke line-up since DreamHack Masters Winter back in December, where the Danes unfolded their active 6-man roster. However, after some poor and disappointing results, zonic now has unveiled that Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth might replace him once again.
Bubzkji might have lost his role on Nuke, which is the only map he features in for the Danish side
Astralis still belongs to the very top of CS:GO which they have done for years, with the dominant Danes standing making deep runs in nearly every tournament they participate in.
A lot of their success in the past was grounded by this earlier mentioned map pool, where Astralis nearly always were secured a 1-0 lead owing to their complete dominance on both Nuke and Inferno, which included an astounding 31-0 map streak on Nuke.

It clear to see that Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and his troops aren’t the rulers of Nuke and Inferno anymore, as the Danes’ level and numbers have increased heavily on the two maps. But it will be very interesting to follow Astralis and what they do and which changes they make in the near future, to retain their supremacy.
