YNk: Astralis as an org turned to shit a while ago
The Analyst openly criticized the Danish Organization on Twitter.
The public backlash to Astralis signing Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen is still ongoing.
Last night it was analyst Janko "YNk" Paunović, who expressed his astonishment at the fact, that the "old guard" of Astralis in Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz accepts being on the same team as HUNDEN.
The comment naturally got Astralis' Director of Communication, Steen Laursen to respond.
Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen was recently unveiled as the new Head Analyst of Astralis. The signing was made after a period of time when HUNDEN had been employed by Astralis in another position earlier in 2022. The drama surrounding HUNDEN started when he was the coach of Heroic, where he got banned for exploiting the Coach bug. After that, he was also implicated in another situation where he was accused of leaking internal strategy documents from Heroic shortly before IEM Cologne to another team, that he was in talks with about a new job. That caused another uproar, which ended with HUNDEN getting fired and ultimately punished by ESIC with a two-year suspension. A verdict that was later revoked. But what followed was almost the worst. "Never burn bridges" may not be a term familiar to HUNDEN who shortly after his sacking started to implicate almost everyone on Heroic, who he accused of being well aware of his cheating.
