Xyp9x on Astralis extension: It was a no-brainer when I saw their plan for the future
In an interview with Pley, the 26-year-old rifler elaborates his decision to extend his contract with Astralis but also what he expects the Danes to achieve at BLAST World Final.
In August this year Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth went out hinting towards a potential exit from Astralis, saying that "now is a great opportunity to look around, see my options, and see what the future brings. There have been some talks with Astralis but nothing is set in stone" in an interview with Dexerto.
After two months of speculation the "Clutch Minister" ended up resigning with the Danish powerhouse, putting pen to paper on a new three-year extension in mid-October. Before the start of BLAST Premier World Final, we got the chance to speak with the experienced rifler about his decision to stay with Astralis, despite having multiple offers on hand.
