Xyp9x: I am really happy, that all the work is paying off
The experienced Astralis rifler has been performing better and better lately.
Astralis has been one of the positive surprises at IEM Cologne. The Danish CS:GO powerhouse qualified for the playoffs at the LAN event with a comfortable 2-0 win against Cloud9.
Among the best in the match for Astralis was Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, who especially on Inferno had a big impact. A welcoming experience for the 26-year-old player, who has seen his share of criticism this year after some lackluster performances.
- I am really happy about that (the performance today). I am just happy that putting all that work into CS, trying to solve your own problems, and actually seeing it pays off is really great. So yeah, I am really happy about my own performance.
With the win Astralis secured themselves a spot at the playoffs of the tournament. A big step for the Danish roster, who are looking like a dangerous opponent for all teams at the event. A feeling that the four-time Major winner also shared after the match.
- This Astralis we showed today against Cloud9 was way better, than what we have shown before.

Astralis will play FaZe tomorrow for a direct spot into the semifinals at IEM Cologne.
