Vitality defeat world’s no. 1 and secure grand final spot

Tonight’s upper bracket final ended with a 2-1 victory for the Frenchmen that now have secured their spot in the grand final at DH Open Fall.

Vitality took the victory in tonight’s upper bracket final after defeating the Danish powerhouse Astralis that now will need a victory against the winner of Heroic vs. NiP to earn a grand final spot. First map Nuke finished 16-4 Astralis, but Vitality recovered and took the win on Dust2 16-10, and Overpass 16-11.

The Frenchmen will now have their fourth opportunity to win a tournament this year, as they have finished runners up to the three previous.
