"Aleksib" left Vitality with no chance of winning the round
In-game leaders are some of the most criticized and praised players within the professional Counter-Strike scene. An in-game leader who has been regarded as one of the smartest brains of Counter-Strike is OG player Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen.
When battling against Team Vitality for a spot in the Grand Finals of IEM Summer 2021, the in-game leader made an incredible mid-round call. With seemingly no information having been gained over at the A-bombsite, the 24-year-old in-game leader made the call to go all the way back through spawn and into the B-bombsite.
With all four remaining Vitality players stuck at the A-bombsite, the round ended without a single casualty over on the B-bombsite, and thanks to "Aleksib" and his CS:GO smarts OG had acquired another vital round on Dust 2.
