VAC ban lifted - KRIMZ ready for Flashpoint 2
On the day of Fnatic's return to Flashpoint 2, their chances of success just took a big step in the right direction.
One of Fnatic's star players, Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson had his account VAC-banned in the weekend. Quickly it became evident, that the legendary Swedish player had done nothing wrong, but had been the victim of a bug from the Swedish matchmaking platform Esportal, that had compatibility issues between their own anti cheat system and Valves.
This morning Valve cleared the Swede from any wrongdoing, and he is now ready to face Team Dignitas later today at Flashpoint 2.
FAQ: VAC stands for Valve Anti-Cheat, an automated system designed to detect cheats installed on users' computers. If a user connects to a VAC-Secured server from a computer with identifiable cheats installed, the VAC system will ban the user from playing that game on VAC-Secured servers in the future.
