Player of the Week: MIBR's chelo
In this week we have set our eyes on Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, who showed some very promising signs at ESL Pro League for the future. Can he be the man to restore the glory at MIBR?
The 22-year-old Brazilian is part of the new MIBR roster, who has now been together for two months. The core of the roster is the old 2020 BOOM squad, who dominated the South America CS:GO scene with nine tournament wins last year. Now the Brazilians face tougher opponents in the A-tier tournaments.
At ESL Pro League MIBR won two out of their five matches. They lost against the three favorites from the group, but still, they managed to make a good impression, which could be a good sign for the future.
The best player so far for MIBR has been Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes. The 22-year-old rifler is rated 1.10 in 2021, and has been on fire in 1vs2 clutch situations with eight wins in eight attempts! We have gathered some of the best highlights from the skilled Brazilian here.
