Media: fnatic eyeing Swedish talent
The three-time major winners have according to sources, been searching actively for a new player for weeks.
The Swedish CS:GO organization fnatic is according to a report from DBLTAP.com and Jarek Dekay Lewis, in talks with the semi-pro of Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattson, as new a potential signing for their active roster. Lewis states that multiple sources have confirmed discussions between Jackinho and the organization, however who the Swede will replace is still unknown.
Jackinho has been playing for a variety of smaller Swedish teams as Property, nerdRage, Visomvet and lastly Prima Esport. The 21-year old isn’t a well-known figure in the CS:GO world, even though he has been playing since 2016.
fnatic haven’t had much success in 2020, only winning one event the entire year, with a couple of 3rd places in addition. The Swedes haven’t lived up to their former high-level CS, as we have seen in earlier years, where the Swedes have been able to compete on the very top of the CS:GO scene.
If the deal goes through, fnatic will hold the following players:
Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson
Jesper “JW” Wecksell
Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin
Robin “flusha” Rönnquist
Maikil “Golden” Selim
Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattson
