Mad Lions IGL on refrezh: We did not understand each other
It was not always written in the stones, that HooXi and refrezh would be good teammates.
Ismail "refrezh" Ali and Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen were added to the MAD Lions roster in late October. A transfer that saw the two of them switching teams together for the third time after having played with each other on Copenhagen Flames and x6tence.
But early in their careers, the two players were not in line with how the game is supposed to be played.
- We have worked a lot on our relationship. At first, I did not understand him as a player at all. I did not understand what he wanted, and I guess he did not understand me as well. But by spending time on the server and talking about CS day and night, we found a good middle ground, and now we understand each other very well, Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen told the Desk at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
The two players have been instrumental in the success at Flashpoint 2, where the Danish roster is ready for the playoffs.
