Louvre Agreement extended to 2025
The agreement around ESL Pro League has been extended by the 14 partner teams and ESL.
ESL and the partner teams of ESL Pro League have announced, that the agreement has been extended.
The initial agreement was signed in February 2020 and was meant to improve monetization and establish a new governance model around ESL Pro League. The partner teams include BIG, Complexity, Evil Geniuses, ENCE, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, Furia, G2 Esports, Mousesports, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Liquid, Team Vitality, and Astralis.
- The teams have brought the ESL Pro League to a whole new level, and having this agreement extended ensures a balanced governance and decision-making infrastructure for years to come, Ralf Reichert, Co-CEO of ESL explains in a press release from ESL.
The partner teams and ESL are also committed to grow and support the North American ecosystem, which has been under pressure due to Covid-19 and Valorant.
The CEO of Astralis, Anders Hørsholt commented on the new deal on Twitter.
