Kasper Straube has joined Astralis as new Sports Director
The now-former Heroic employee has started his new job already.
The team behind the players on Astralis has been shaken up during the summer break.
For many years Kasper Hvidt was the Sports Director on Astralis, but he and assistant coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen both had their contracts terminated last month.
Mathias "R0nic" Pinholt was immediately promoted from the academy team to the main team as the new assistant coach, while Kasper Straube was hired to start as the new Sports Director starting the 1st of October. But already today the former physiotherapist and Head of Performance at Heroic was announced on Astralis.
Straube and the rest of Astralis will look into restoring the team to the top 10 of the world ranking after having spent eight months outside of the top of the best teams in the world.
