Inferno by far the most played map of 2021

Whilst it is primarily down to the players once they are in the server to perform and outplay their opponents, the battle sometimes begins even beforehand. The map-veto stages have proven to be instrumental in some cases and can bring a spanner in the works of even the best teams in the world.
When looking at the official stats from HLTV it is clear that one map, in particular, has been favored in 2021. The map goes by the name of Inferno and has been played 67 times in the past three months by top 20 teams.
It is, of course, famous for its "banana" section where grenades can be just as deadly as bullets. In addition, the map is known to be played as the third and final map, which has meant many intense and clutch moments on the soil of Inferno.
From "kennyS" and his crazy flicks with the AWP to Astralis' immaculate run on the map and, of course, the infamous "Dosia nade" to kill the t's in a post-plant situation, the map has produced some iconic memories.
