He’s back! - fer signs with 00Nation
The 29-year-old superstar rounds of the Brazilian roster after the benching of the profiled Teles twins.
The renowned Fernando "fer" Alvarenga has returned to competitive Counter-Strike, with the two-time Major winner signing a contract with 00Nation. The CS:GO veteran joins the Brazilian roster as the replacement for the recently benched Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles.
The addition of fer also means that 00Nation will return to field a five-man lineup, instead of their previous six-man roster.
fer is most known for his time at SK, Luminosity, and MIBR where the Brazilian rifler won countless titles, including the two Major championships at MLG Columbus and ESL One Cologne in 2016. However, fer haven’t played much in the last 12 months, owing to his benching from MIBR in September last year.
The announcement of fer, comes few hours after the news of 00Nation benching the two twins HEN1 and LUCAS1. The Brazilian team explains that the disappointing result at the recent IEM Fall was the reason behind the decision to axe the duo. All the roster changes mean that the former substitute in Alencar "trk" Rossato will be promoted to the active lineup.
