G2 will rematch Astralis in the Group C final!
MIBR's Cinderella story came to an end on Train after a great series against G2-1.
G2 will now face off against Astralis in the Blast Premier Fall Series Group C final after outclassing MIBR on Train 16-5. The first two maps of the decider series went into overtime before finding a winner, and both of the teams won on each other’s map pick. The nexa-led team ensured the series victory, but also a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Finals which will be played in December.
NiKo popped off with the best map in the series and also topped the scoreboard once again for G2 with a 25-10 score on the last map. AmaNEk who possibly could be sacrificed for NiKo’s place on the team also had a strong series with a 1.30 rating.
G2 will play their last game in the group stage in a rematch against Astralis to decide who will have the higher seed at the Fall Finals. The game will begin at 21.30 (CEST)
