FURIA have opened talks with Triumph to sign “junior”
The Brazilian squad is considering picking up Triumph’s AWP’er as a replacement for “HEN1” according to Rush B Media.
FURA could potentially be signing Paytyn “junior” Johnson, who has been by far the best performer for Triumph in recent times, to complete their roster as the organization is prepared to move on from Henrique “HEN1” Teles.
While the 19-year-old’s form warrants FURIA’s interest, introducing an American player to a full Brazilian roster would provide new challenges for the squad who has won three out of four events they played in NA after the player break and are currently ranked seventh in the world.
The Brazilian organization reportedly do not rule out the possibility of doing multiple changes, with another player potentially being shown the exit door as well.
If the reported deal would go through, FURIA’s line-up would look as follows:
Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
Andrei “arT” Piovezan
Yuri “yuurih” Santos
Paytyn “junior” Johnson
Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira (head coach)
