FunPlus Phoenix and Sprout survives another day at DreamHack Open
HellRaisers and forZe are eliminated after two straight defeats.
The new roster from FunPlus Phoenix won their first game in history, when they defeated HellRaisers in an exciting match, that went to double overtime at Nuke on the second map. With the help of Asger "Farlig" Jensen they sealed the victory with a 22-20 victory. The Dane made 38 kills during the map including a very important 1vs2 clutch.
FunPlus Phoenix - HellRaisers 2-0 (16-10, 22-20)
In Group B Sprout and forZe fought for their lives at the tournament after defeats in the first round. A well playing Josef 'faveN' Baumann was one of the big differences in the match between two equal teams. The entry fragger was instrumental with his +21 K/D during the match.
Sprout - forZe 2-1 (16-14, 13-16, 16-11)
Both teams will play another elimination match tomorrow.
