flameZ: This year is going to be three times better than 2021
Shahar "flameZ" Shushan looks forward to showing his full potential in 2022, where he has set himself some ambitious goals.
It was a year full of ups and downs for OG's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan. On a personal level, the young Israelian made the move into Tier 1 Counter-Strike with his transfer to OG at the beginning of 2021.
The OG rifler kickstarted his career on the top level with an impressive performance at BLAST Spring Showdown with a 1.24 HLTV score. A solid start for the former Endpoint player, who became the last piece of the OG puzzle after the exit of NBK- and ISSAA. But the OG steam blew off at the end of the year, where flameZ and the rest of the roster had to watch the PGL Stockholm from home after they failed to qualify.
- I feel like the year was really good. I had a chance to show up at Endpoint, joined OG and learned a lot of new things, and got some more experience. And now we have a new IGL, who I really believe in. I feel like this year is going to be three times better than 2021, the 18-year-old rifler explains.
Speaking about his goals for 2022, the Israelian doesn't hesitate with the answer.
- Individually I need to reach the top 20 (on HLTV's yearly ranking). I need to show up and show up in numbers. I need to be there for my team when they need me. Teamwise I want us to become a solid top 5 team, that will give everybody a hard time.
