CPH Flames defeat Eternal Fire to book semifinal spot
A strong duo of jabbi and roeJ leads the Danes to victory at Pinnacle Winter Series 1.
Copenhagen Flames is the first team to grab a semifinal ticket at Pinnacle Winter Series 1, following a solid 2-1 win over Eternal Fire in the first of four quarterfinals this Tuesday. The victory was sealed through two dominant wins on Vertigo and Inferno, where Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard showed a phenomenal individual performance.
jabbi stepped up massively on the deciding map of Inferno, where the 18-year-old rifler round after round tore Eternal Fire apart through strong holds and aggressive peeks. In the end, it was enough for Copenhagen Flames to secure the 16-9 win, which will send them through to the next round, while woxic and company must head home empty-handed.
