There were several big upsets on day 1 at DreamHack Masters qualifiers. In the open qualifying format, all matches on day 1 were played as a best of one.

MIBR, ENCE, Dignitas, Sprout, EXTREMUM, and the first seeded team from Fnatic are all out of the tournament.

Through to tomorrow Quarter-Finals (bo3) are:

K23 vs Singularity
Movistar Riders vs Budapest Five
Hard Legion vs MBAPPEEK
