BLAST Spring Showdown starts with a banger: OG vs Astralis
The schedule for the upcoming BLAST event has been released.
There will be some huge teams missing for the BLAST Premier Spring Finals later this year. Only two teams will qualify for the event from BLAST Spring Showdown, where teams as Astralis, Gambit, Team Liquid, Team Vitality, Team Spirit, and Heroic are present.
Today the teams have been seeded for the event, and the schedule for the tournament has been released.
Due to the roster changes at OG after the deadline, the European squad has been seeded last, and will therefore face Astralis in the first round. There will be no lower bracket in the tournament, which leaves OG with a lot of work to do!
The first round of BLAST Spring Showdown:
13/4 - 12.30: Astralis - OG
13/4 - 15.30: G2 - Endpoint
13/4 - 18.30: Team Liquid - Team Dignitas
14/4 - 12.30: Spirit - Extra Salt
14/4 - 15.30: Gambit - NASR
14/4 - 18.30: Furia - MIBR
15/4 - 15.30: Heroic - sAw
15/4 - 18.30: Team Vitality - 9z
The top two of the event will qualify for BLAST Premier Spring Finals.
