blameF: When I came into the Major I thought this is our time
The Astralis player commented on the PGL Antwerp exit during a livesteam.
After the early exit for Astralis at the PGL Major Antwerp, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer took the first plane home and started up his livestream while grinding aim-bots.
Here the Dane answered questions from the viewers about the tournament, and how it felt being knocked out after the first stage.
- We win as a team and lose as a team. We do not blame anyone or anything like that. We just have to figure out how to move on from this and play better. The worst part of it is that one week ago we played really well.
On an individual level Benjamin "blameF" Bremer had a great showing at the Major, where the Astralis rifler ended the event as the second-highest player despite Astralis losing three matches. The personal success is obviously overshadowed by bad overall team performance. A performance that came as a surprise for blameF, who had way higher expectations before the Major started.
- When I came into the Major I thought like that this is our time. We have actually been playing better lately and maybe we were peaking now as a team. I think that was the hardest part for us to realize, that we didn't.
Next event for Astralis is IEM Dalles at the end of May.
