Banned coach joins MAD Lions
Former mouz coach, Rejin has been given a leading position at the prominent organization, even though he currently serves a long ESIC ban.
The experienced coach, Allan "Rejin" Petersen has signed with MAD Lions on a permanent deal, the 33-year old Dane confirms to dust2.dk. Rejin joins the Spanish organization's management division, as the former mousesports coach will serve as their new Senior Manager.
Rejin is currently serving a 19.8-month coaching ban issued back in September 2020 by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), owing to his severe involvement in the controversial ‘Spectator Bug Scandal’. The Danish coach was charged for 7 illegal incidents dating back from his time at Tricked esports, which resulted in the second-longest ban out of the 37 coaches who were implicated.
Something, which let his former employer mousesports to release him as their coach, with German organization saying “our firm stand for competitive integrity left us with no other option.”
MAD Lions are at the moment without a head coach, due to the Danish-packed team having released their former coach Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu.
