Astralis sign new partner: “This is the biggest partnership deal in our lifetime”
The Danish heavy hitters join the crypto exchange business with their new signing of Bybit.
The esports mastodont Astralis has entered a new and exciting partnership with the crypto exchange firm called Bybit. The three-year deal, which is declared as their biggest ever up to this date, will “give room to (the organization) to focus even more on the ongoing work to develop our teams, brand, and business.
The partnership with the crypto business means that Bybit’s logo will be found on the front of Astralis’ match-jersey, but the deal will also go beyond branding in the shape of different initiatives and awareness campaigns. Co-founder and CRO at Astralis, Jakob Lund Kristensen has touched on the announcement.
This is a significant deal for Astralis both financially and brand wise. It is the largest partnership deal we have entered to date, and just as important, the purpose of the agreement and activation around it is almost the perfect match with ours: To champion the positives of gaming.
The three-year deal will place Bybit’s logo on the official players’ jerseys of our Counter-Strike team as well as digitally on relevant platforms and social media channels. The deal gives us room to focus even more on the ongoing work to develop our teams, brand, and business.
Ben Zhou, co-Founder and CEO at Bybit is very pleased with the deal, which also includes the initiative/competition called WSOT "World Series of Trading", a $7.5 Million trading tournament.
