Astralis secure Group B Final spot over MIBR
Astralis was too big a mouthful for MIBR!
The fifth match of the day had MIBR matching up vs. Astralis to fight for a spot in the Group B Final vs. OG. Both of them have already lost once against OG and both of them have beaten the world's #1 team of Na'Vi. The battleground upon which this Group B Consolidation Final would take place was Overpass, with the Brazilians starting on the defending side and the Danes in the role of the terrorists.
MIBR started the map with a clean pistol round and they were able to convert it into three more with great help from stand-in "brnz4n". The Danes eager to not become the next meal of the Brazilians put their name on the board and went on a little streak of their own, taking six of the next seven rounds. MIBR were able to take back the lead, but it was only a small one as the teams headed to halftime at 8-7.
Starting the second half MIBR lost their first pistol round of the day after a smooth triple kill from "Lucky". The Danes used this momentum to take back the lead, and build a solid economy for their CT-side. This fueled them into an eight-round win streak that netted them match point before MIBR were able to take their first round on the T-side. The Brazilians didn't manage to keep the rounds coming and Astralis closed out the game at 16-9 and will be facing OG in the Group B Final.
