A confident 2-0 victory over fnatic sees the Danes lock in the first place in Group D.
The top three positions in the ESL Pro League Season 13 group D had already been decided yesterday, but a strong showing from Astralis in today’s matchup against the Swedes confirmed the status of gla1ve and company as the best in their group, which means they’re claiming the play-in slot.

The series started on fnatic’s pick of Train, where Astralis’ AWPer was completely on fire. The 25-year-old Dane topped the scoreboard with a stellar 2.18 Rating, dropped a 40-bomb, and led the charge for his team to close out the map 16-10.
On Astralis pick of Dust2, the Danes had a strong showing on the offense and secured themselves a 9-6 lead right before halftime. As the teams switched sides, Astralis won the pistol round and grabbed the two next afterwards, but the Swedes seemed like they weren’t ready to give up as they answered back by stealing three rounds moments later. After that, the Danes shut down fnatic and denied them a comeback by closing out the map 16-10 once again and wrapping up the series 2-0.
