Astralis back to winning ways at ESL Pro League
The Danes overcome a potent AGO squad in the third round of Group D.
After yesterday’s tough loss against their countrymen from Heroic, Astralis managed to retaliate this Friday by defeating AGO 2-0. Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and his men a fierce AGO side, that pushed Astralis to the edge on both Mirage and Nuke.
It was Astralis who commenced the match the best as they presented a solid CT defence on Mirage, leaving minimal chances for the Polish underdogs. A strong performance by the newcomer Farlig and the strong rifler in blameF was enough for Astralis to a close 16-13 win.
On Astralis’ map pick of Nuke, the balanced shifted completely. Now it was AGO controlling the server through a strong start on the CT, where the Polish youngsters managed to go up 7-2. However, AGO couldn’t maintain momentum and the lead for long as Astralis began to wake up on the second map. In the end, Astralis proved too strong for AGO, concluding the series with a 16-9 win.
