Team captain reunites with former team
Asger “AcilioN” Larsen continues his career at Copenhagen Flames.
The Danish CS:GO team Copenhagen Flames has announced that they have signed AcilioN from their Danish rivals at Mad Lions.
AcillioN has previously played for Copenhagen Flames in 2019, with great success to follow, resulting in the team’s first presence at the top 30 on HLTV world ranking, just five months after AcilioN’s arrival. After his great success and a positive display, Mad Lions decided to acquire him, but AcilioN did not manage to produce the same level as he showed in 2019.
AcilioN reunites with Copenhagen Flames and completes the roster by being the fifth and last member joining Basso, Daffu, Nicoodoz and Jabbi.
“He fits well into our goals, visions, values and the community that we would like to build in and around our club. This move should definitely be seen as our first step towards wanting more. We want Copenhagen Flames to be a consistent factor in international CS:GO and I believe that our investment in Asger shows that” says a very pleased Daniel Vorborg, director of esports at Copenhagen Flames.
