Rio in ecstasy as FURIA win opener against ENCE
The hometown heroes are off to a perfect start to the Legends Stage.
All eyes are on FURIA at the IEM Rio, where the last remaining Brazilian roster fights for the chance of playing at the playoff stage on home turf.
Against ENCE on Vertigo, FURIA lifted the roof of the Riocentro with an impressive performance that saw them win the match 16-6.
A good first half on the T side gave way for an even better half as CT’s. The usual suspects in yuurih and KSCERATO was flanked by a very well-playing drop, who gave FURIA optimal conditions to take down ENCE in a somewhat spectacular fashion. Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer’s troops never really had any chance in the encounter that ended very one-sided.
Both teams will fight later tonight in the second round of the Legends Stage.
