Plopski before G2 clash: It was really close last time
Ninjas in Pyjamas have a shot at revenge against G2 in the consolidation final of Flashpoint 3.
On Thursday, device and company from Ninjas in Pyjamas came back from a map down to defeat Heroic and secure a spot in the consolidation final against the French-Balkan side from G2.
Last time NiP and G2 met, the Swedish-side lost against the international team in the upper semi-finals that took place on Sunday. This time around, Ninjas will look to get revenge from their last defeat which knocked them down in the lower brackets and hopefully secure a spot in the Grand final.
Nicolas “Plopski” Gonzalez Zamora spoke with the desk at Flashpoint in a post-match interview after their victory over Heroic, and was asked about the team’s preparation for the next match against G2. “I think we are going to go back and watch the demos of those maps. It was really close last time, the games came down to the wire and could have gone either way.”
The consolidation final will kick off today at 21:00 (CET).
