NIP makes dramatic comeback and eliminates Heroic from Flashpoint 3

In an entertaining and well-played match, NIP made an impressive comeback to win 2-1.

The match started on Nuke, where Heroic was on a five-match winning streak. The Danish team made it six in a row after a well-structured T-side, where they established a solid 10-5 lead at the break and followed through in the second half by winning 6-5 to take home the first map.

On Overpass, the two teams were more evenly matched. Nicolai 'device' Reedtz had been quiet on Nuke, but on NIP's own map pick he started to heat up. The Danish AWP'er was the biggest factor in keeping the Swedish Ninja in the match.

The rest of the roster from NIP were all in negative K-D score, which made a comeback seem impossible. Down 13-15, the Swedes managed to find a way back to force the match to overtime. device ended the 30 rounds with 33 kills!

One overtime was quickly made into another until NIP completed the comeback and forced their way into a third map.

The decider was set on Mirage. Ninjas in Pyjamas took the lead at the break for the first time in the match and followed up by winning the last eight out of nine rounds to secure the reverse sweep and an amazing comeback. REZ was the main man for NIP on Mirage with an incredible 22-11 K-D.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will now get a chance for revenge against G2, who knocked NIP down in the lower brackets. The two of them face each other in the Consolidation Final, where the winner advance to Sunday's Grand Final, where mousesports awaits.

Heroic is done at the tournament, but they exit with a solid 1300 RMR points in the bag.
