NIP plow through Entropiq at ESL Pro League
The Swedes are now 2-0 in matches after a perfect start to the event.
- It was not supposed to be like this! The words from the commentators of the match between Ninjas in Pyjamas and Entropiq told the tale of an unusual one-sided match that was supposed to be an all-even affair.
The blowout started on Nuke, where NIP managed to win 10 rounds in a row to completely shut down Entropiq on their own map pick.
The Swedish Ninjas only gave 11 rounds away yesterday against Fnatic, but today they had the opportunity to do it even better after winning Nuke 16-5 and going up 12-3 on Overpass in the first half. An unreal start to the tournament from NIP, who could enjoy several good performances from their players throughout the match with Plopski stealing the headlines with an incredible 1vs4 clutch that slowed Entropiq down after they had gotten off to a good start in the second half.
NIP won the map 16-7 and is now 2-0 in Group A, while Entropiq is 1-1. Both teams will be back in action tomorrow.
