NiP eliminate Complexity to book semi-final spot in EPL
Ninjas in Pyjamas are ready for the semi-final where they will face off Gambit for a spot in the Grand final at the prominent event.
The Swedish squad is through to the semi-finals at ESL Pro League S13 as they managed to bounce back from their loss in the Play-in stage against Heroic that sent them back to the quarter-finals, which saw them beat Complexity to set themselves up against Gambit on Saturday at 15:30 (CET) for a spot in the Grand final.

The action started on Complexity’s map pick of Mirage where both teams followed each other all the way to OT. Ninjas in Pyjamas had the chance to close out the map on map point (14-15) and looked to take a 1-0 series lead, but instead, Complexity laid the game to rest in OT with k0nfig stepping up huge to help his team complete their first mission.
Ninjas in Pyjamas bounced back and tied the series 1-1 by taking their own map pick of Overpass, which also was a close affair in the end. Complexity came out strong looking in the first half, grabbing 11 out of the possible 15 rounds before halftime. But as soon as the teams switched sides, NiP completely shut down the Complexity’s offense and denied every good and well thought execute from the European mixture squad to close out the map 16-14.
The Swedish team wrapped up the series on the decider of Inferno where hampus stood out against the European mixture with 0.79 KPR. With 72 frags and 90.0 ADR, the 22-year-old was a compelling factor in the reverse sweep.
