MIBR stuns FURIA in Brazilian El Clásico
MIBR smelled blood and painted Vertigo red in the last map of the series.
The number 4 ranked team in the world has been eliminated and sent to the Showdown event after a 2-1 loss against their rivals from Brazil. After an impressive performance against Astralis yesterday, MIBR punished FURIA on the same maps today, and live to fight another day in the BLAST Premier Fall Series.
MIBR continued surprising everyone by outlasting FURIA and closing the last map of the series in convincing fashion 16-4 (Vertigo). kNgV and leo_drk had a great performance on the closing map, but trk shined over all three maps with a 54-36 K-D and 1.25 rating.
The guys from MIBR showed amazing heart believing in each other all the way through and will now look forward to an exciting clash against the new G2 roster on Wednesday afternoon.
