guerri to stand in for FURIA in EPL
The 31-year-old coach will play at the prominent event instead of Lucas “honda” Cano.
Last week, it was announced by the Brazilian organization that Lucas “honda” Cano will play his final event for FURIA’s main roster in ESL Pro League Season 14 because their emergency transfer request to field their new addition in André “drop” Abreu got rejected.
Now, things have changed as the 21-year-old honda has decided against travelling to Europe with the main roster after his mother tested positive for COVID-19.
Instead of honda, FURIA’s coach, Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira will step into the active roster as he is the only member listed in FURIA’s official line-up. The Brazilian coach haven’t played as a player since late 2019, when filled in for Henrique “HEN1” Teles at cs_summit 5.
It will be a hard task for the Brazilian squad in the Group D of ESL Pro League, which features strong teams such as Gambit and Ninjas in Pyjamas. FURIA will play their first match at the event on Wednesday at 16:45 (CET).
FURIA’s lineup will look as follows:
Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
Yuri “yuurih” Santos
Andrei “arT” Piovezan
