FURIA to play without their new signing at BLAST Premier Global Final
The Brazilian top team have to do without their new promising AWPer at
Yesterday FURIA announced the signing of the promising American Paytyn “junior” Johnson from Triumph, in a deal worth up to $55.000. A transfer that was much needed owing to the benching of Henrique “HEN1” Teles and the awaiting event of BLAST Global Final starting at the 19th of January.
However, sources can tell that the Brazilian top team have to look elsewhere for a potential fifth man for the $1 Million event. Allegedly, junior has some passports difficulties, which mean that the 20-year old American won't travel to Serbia, alongside his new teammates. Something, the Brazilian team have confirmed via Twitter, and through its CEO Andre Akkari on Instagram.
“Today we announced junior, now he is our CSGO athlete in FURIA he won't be able to play this event due to passport issues so tomorrow we are going to do the announcement of our 6th player, he is going to the server, and will be playing the BLAST Finals” – Translated statement from CEO at FURIA, Akkari.
