FURIA outclass Astralis 2-0 to secure semi-final spot in EPL

arT and company are through to the ESL Pro League Season 13 semi-finals following a dominant victory over the Danes from Astralis. The Brazilian squad struck first blood in the series in a controlled manner on Vertigo and later wrapped up the series by stealing Astralis’ map pick of Train and kicked them out of the tournament.

The series began on FURIA’s map pick of Vertigo where Astralis opened the game with a 3-5 lead before FURIA got guns in their hands to take the lead. FURIA strung together five rounds in a row and stormed to a 9-6 lead on the offense before halftime. The Brazilians carried over the momentum in the second half as they only allowed Astralis to grab four rounds before closing out the map 16-10 in a controlled manner.

FURIA wrapped up the series by stealing Astralis’ pick of Train and completely dominated them out of the server. The Danes only managed to win two rounds, one on the offence and one on the defense, before arT and company closed out the map 16-2. The FURIA captain proved too much to handle for Astralis in this series with 1.00 KPR and 100.5 ADR.
